I told the audience I was wearing red that night to express a sense of urgency about the need for all of us to stand up to hate at this volatile moment in our country. The Depot in Downtown Lexington MA was standing room only, as town leaders and residents from the area, representatives from five law enforcement agencies, members of diverse faiths--including a large contingent of Muslims and Sikhs--school board members, superintendents, teachers, and elected officials gathered to learn about Not In Our Town and see the film Waking in Oak Creek.

Not In Our Town is proud to announce an exciting campaign with our hometown team, the Golden State Warriors! The Warriors and Adobe are partnering with Not In Our Town, urging fans everywhere to Take the Pledge to stop hate and bullying.
In a PSA titled "Not On Our Ground, Not In Our Town," players including NBA All-Stars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson publicly share their commitment to stand up to bullying. Across the country, in response to a number of recent hate crimes, people are coming together to stand with their Muslim neighbors and friends. From Billings, MT to Oak Creek, WI, local Not In Our Town groups are part of these efforts to rebuke the Islamophobia which has increased in the wake of recent terror attacks, and to make their communities safer for all residents.
