NIOT Bowling Green Monthly Meeting
Oct. 3, 2019
The monthly general meeting of Not In Our Town BG will be held at Bowling Green Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 304 North Church Street at 3:00 pm. The gathering is open to community and campus public participation and input. Those present will review events of the past month, hear reports of current activities, and consider issues to address and opportunities to build a more safe, respectful and inclusive community.
"Light in the Darkness" Film Screening and Youth Panel Discussion

Learn what you can do to fight hate in your community. Discover how, after a local Latino immigrant was killed in a hate crime attack, residents in one town came together to heal and create a safe and welcoming community for all. Welcoming Week in Bend
Sept. 17, 2019, 5:30 - 7:30 PM
How can we make Bend a safe place to live for migrant and other marginalized communities? Combating Hate in Bend will be an educational event with the goal of bringing marginalized and privileged communities here in Bend together to create pathways for action. The evening will begin with a screening of Not In Our Town: Light in the Darkness. A panel discussion will follow. The night will conclude with an Action Session in which audience members will be called upon to develop a path forward towards making Bend a more welcoming and inclusive place to live.

Marin DA Office: Community Conversation

The District Attorney’s Office is sponsoring an event for our “Civic Center Community”: Affinity Groups, Employees, Contractors and Members of the Public. Filmmaker, Patrice O’Neil and DA, Lori Frugoli will be in attendance. Come watch the documentary and be a part of the change.
