In the next two years, a set of new of tools will be created to help law enforcement, victims, and the community find and share new hate crime prevention strategies. Some tools and resources to look forward to include:
- A new online resource site at NIOT.org/COPS with an advice section, public/private forums, case studies, and much more
- 5 new short films featuring law enforcement-community best practices
- Action guides
- Law enforcement guides
- Guides for working with school populations
- Webinars for law enforcement and community leaders
National Network: Get Involved
The initiative is actively recruiting law enforcement professionals to participate in a national network of leaders sharing innovative strategies and best practices for hate crime prevention and improved community relations.
