KQED will broadcast Not In Our Town: Class Actions on Monday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. The broadcast is an opportunity to open the conversation about how to stop hate and bullying. Join us in getting a Bay Area discussion going in your schools and communities.
About the program: Not In Our Town: Class Actions, a 30-minute program, showcases three communities grappling with past tragedies: segregation in the South, white supremacist violence in the Midwest, and teen suicides in California. In these stories, you will find students and community leaders standing up to hate and bullying.

Here are three ways you can use Class Actions.
1.TUNE IN
Watch the program on Monday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. Visit KQED for more information and to sign up for an email reminder.
2. SPREAD THE WORD
Help us stop hate and bullying. Tell your friends, colleagues and family about the program. Spread the word via your social media networks.
3. ACT
Bring Class Actions to your community or work place. Host a screening and use our screening kit to engage others in conversation around the film and how to take action in your community.
Tips for Teachers:
- Consider extra credit for students who watch it at home.
- See how two teachers developed pre-screening and post-screening activities and sparked lively feedback from their students.
- Develop Not In Our School activities at your school. Need funding? Apply for a mini-grant.
