Not In Our Town Community Engagement Director Michelle Gahee Kloss appeared on WBGTV's North West Ohio Journal and talked to host Steve Kendall about the great work that Not In Our Town Bowling Green is doing.
In the interview, Michelle discusses the diversity of Bowling Green's Not In Our Town campaign, the upcoming Gold Star Cities program, and the amazing community members who have made Bowling Green Not In Our Town an exemplary force for community inclusion.
Not In Our Town Bowling Green/BGSU started in 2013 after two racially-motivated hate incidents spurred students to come together and stand against hate on their campus. Leaders from the Black Student Union and the school administration organized community meetings and launched the campaign, which became a partnership between BGSU and the city.
